One of my pets name is Lucky. He is all black, literally. He doesnt have any white tan or grey on him. Lucky was a stray and my mom brought him to the vet to get him healthy and all his shots. I named him lucky, even though thats a girly name, because i thought he was a lucky cat to find a home and i always wanted to name a pet Lucky. I never did because my mom or dad named the pet, but i found lucky and he was my cat so i got to name him.

the most powerful thing you can say to someone… ?
Published January 19, 2009 Uncategorized 1 CommentI think the most powerful thing you can say to someone is you can do it, keep going and never give up. I think this is the most powerful thing to say because sometimes when someone is down and not feeling like they cant accomplish something, its comforting and encouraging for them to hear someone else saying they can do it. Someone saying this to another person can motivate them enough to put. their mind to something and achieve it
I was bored and thinking, I thought that you can be the big fish in a pond full of little ones, but soon there will be a bigger fish and you will be a little one. For example, world record books live off there being such a big great achievement, but then an even bigger one comes along. And the old achievement is forgotten because a greater one came along. So when you lose something or get denied, or rejected just think something bigger and better will come along.
Hello. I haven’t really been writing much on my blog. It’s a new year now, so Im going to try to keep up. This had to be 150 characters or less. Am I there yet? Not yet a few more. There 150!
Dear Mr. President,
I think it is swell you were elected President of the United States. I hope for you to resolve some of the major problems in our country. So many things are not the way they should be. People are living without healthcare, and education is not as influenced as I think it can be. Predicaments like these may, most definately take some time to repair, but in my heart i believe you can handle to position to change our country for the better.
The main reason I am writing to you is to talk about Healthcare. Healthcare is definately a rising problem here, in the U.S. There has to be something done, for the people walking into hospitals wounded, with not much money, paying more than is appropriate. People who cannot afford this are going to see themselves struggling in a not so good obstacle. You, as the President of the United States is going to be counted on to help, and fix this. I am confident that these issues are going to be improved.
I am definately aware that you understand healthcare needs adjustments. I have read a little bit about your plan and what sticks out most to me is that you assure your going to
require coverage of preventive services, including cancer screenings, and also increase state and local preparedness for terrorist attacks and natural disasters. I like to feel assured that my country will be ready for any catastrophes, and tragedies. I am confident about your view on this. Another thing that stands out to me is, while you are going to provide affodable and accessible healthcare for everyone, you are also building on the existing healthcare system, and using existing providers, doctors and plans to implement the plan.
Thank you for reading my opinion. Once again i am a very confident person with the way you are designing to improve out country. I also would like to repeat how i feel assured your influence on the U.S. is going to help extremely.
sincerely,
kristina
I am off of school for two days because of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is on Thursday November 27. When you normally think about thanksgiving you think of a big turkey dinner, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, other types of pie too. Many people think these traditions are what the pilgrims used to do, and thats where we inherited it from, but this is a myth about thanksgiving, Thanksgiving is not about family. The pilgrims did not celebrate thankgiving as a family event, but a community gathering. The Indians would not have been invited if thanksgiving was all about family. Mostly everyone thinks that the pilgrims had turkey, potatoes, apples, and cranberries, yet the only thing were sure of them having was deer. Deer isn’t too common amoung “thanksgiving dinners”. So another thing that people think was inherited by pilgrims, is false.
In my school people recycle papers, and plastic bottles. At my house we recycle all of our water bottles. I think it is great how more and more people are recycling. It is helping the world to be a better living enviornment. It is also helping our future.
Clothing for young kids In the 19th century was totally different from what we wear today. A girl would wear a pair of pantalettes. Little girls’ dresses were very similar to their mothers’ in cut, but they were shorter, allowing the pantalettes, either of a matching fabric or of embroidered white cotton or linen, to show. As a girl got older, her skirts became gradually longer. By the age of 13 or so, she left off wearing pantalettes altogether. Girls today would wear something totally the opposite. Most girls like to wear hollister, pacsun, abercrombie, and a lot of other prefferences of brands. What i personally like is juicy couture, and pacsun, and others too. A young boy would wear spencers and a hat. Boys today also wear name brand clothing. I would definately like to live now rather than back then.
THIS RANDOM IS BECAUSE OF MATT! Matt thinks that pancakes are never made to be pink. I told Matt that you can put pink food coloring in the pancake mix to make then pink. He says that no one would do that, but i disagree and say that i would!
Christmas!

Christmas is my favorite holiday because I get to gather with my family. This is important to me because the family i dont normally see everyday i get to see, and enjoy such a wonderful holiday with them.
I also like all the wonderful decorations. Like putting up the christmas tree, and driving by houses with christmas lights and all other kinds of enjoyable decorations!
I absolutely love to make christmas cookies and decorate them. The best is making Gingerbread cookies and drawing on their faces, shirt with buttons, and their other chracteristics.
The last thing i love,of course, is the presents to open up on christmas morning!
